Practice Nurse Team
The clinical team are supported by a team of Practice Nurses (Paula) who can provide general health and long term condition advice (Asthma, COPD, Blood Pressure, Heart Failure, Cardiovascular Disease, Atrial Fibrillation, Diabetes), contraception, women’s health and wound management. The Practice Nurses are available Monday to Friday and appointments can be booked up to 6 weeks in advance.
Health Care Assistants
Our health care assistants (Tracy and Emma) conduct bloods tests, ECG’s, take blood pressure, record lifestyle information. These appointments, similar to practice nurses can be booked up to 6 weeks in advance.
Practice Manager
Paul Munro deals with organisation, business and strategic management.
Administration Team
The practice admin team deal with all the administrative duties within the practice, whilst also manning the reception desk and taking telephone calls. The team have been trained to sign post you to the relevant clinician to ensure you are dealt with in the most appropriate way.
Practice Pharmacists
Elaine (Advanced Pharmacist Prescriber), Nadine (Pharmacist) together with their Pharmacy Team ensure quality prescribing within the practice. They also facilitate clinics for patients with Hypertension, Heart Failure, Atrial Fibrillation and Cardiovascular Disease.
Mental Health & Wellbeing Practitioner
Ve Butler is our mental health & wellbeing practitioner and can be contacted by self-referral via email: [email protected] or by speaking to one of our clinical administration team. You must be over 18 and do not need to speak to a GP first.
