Community Nurses

The community nursing team are based in the nursing centre, an extension to the existing medical centre.  The community nursing team comprises:

District Nurses

There is a full-time district nursing sister and two part-time district nursing sisters who, supported by other qualified nurses and auxiliary staff, offer home nursing care and advice to patients who are unable to attend the surgery.

In partnership with families, doctors and other caring agencies, their skill and experience allow them to care for those with chronic and terminal illnesses within their own homes.

The district nursing service operates each day of the year from 8.30am to 5.00pm.
