EMERGENCIES
Each day one of the doctor assumes the responsibility for all emergencies.
If you require URGENT MEDICAL ATTENTION your request will be passed to the duty doctor for that day.
Please remember that emergencies can occur at any time during the day and on occasion this may require the doctor you are seeing to the leave the surgery. You will be informed by the receptionist if this happens and offered the opportunity to make another appointment.
OUT OF HOURS EMERGENCIES
The practice is part of the G-Med co-operative for out of hours medical cover. If you need a doctor in an emergency after the surgery has closed (6.00pm Monday to Friday), please telephone 0845 337 6350 and your call will be transferred to G-Med.
The doctor may give advice over the telephone when this is appropriate or the patient may be asked to attend the out of hours centre. If necessary a home visit may be made. This is not a drop-in centre and telephone contacts must be made.
